Happiness

Most people believe that when they do or have the things that they want, then they will be happy. In fact, it is when we are happy that we attract more of the things we can be happy about.

Being miserable only repels people and opportunities away from you. Nobody likes the company of a whiner and moaner. No-one wants to help them.

We can actually choose how we feel at any given time. Circumstances don't make us feel happy or miserable. It is how we choose to react to what is happening to us.

If you stay focussed on what you hate about your life, then you will only create more of what you don't like. If you focus on something that you feel happy and grateful for - no matter how insignificant it may seem - and "expand" on that feeling, then you create more of what you can be happy and grateful about.

If you really can't think of anything good, try watching something funny on tv and be grateful that you can do that!

Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. - Abraham Lincoln
